Every banner that was purchased for 2019 has been displayed in downtown Eustis.
Thank you for supporting our veterans!
Our Hometown Heroes Banner Program for 2019 allows citizens and businesses to purchase banners that feature an honorably-discharged veteran or active duty armed forces member. These banners will be installed on the decorative street lights in the downtown Eustis area from September 1, 2019 to November 12, 2019. When the banners are taken down, they will be given to the purchaser. We will advise when they are in our office and available for pickup.
The purpose of this program is to pay tribute by honoring and recognizing Lake County residents, past or present, that are serving or have served our country in the military.
Every banner includes a photo, branch of service, military rank and U.S. period(s) of war (World War I, World War II, Korean Conflict, Vietnam Era, Persian Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedom's Sentinel, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Inherent Resolve, etc.). You may also include an honor. We can only accept the following: Medal of Freedom, Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Air Force Cross, Navy Cross. The banners are double-sided and measure 18" wide and 35 3/4" long.
This program was created and is administered by Artisan Laser Guild, a Eustis, Florida company, located in north Lake County. Partial proceeds will benefit the Lake County Vet Fest committee. We partnered with the City of Eustis for installation and removal of the banners.
Please note: Artisan Laser Guild is not responsible for replacing banners that are stolen, damaged
or destroyed due to age, vandalism or any acts of nature.
